This 45-minute group class provides the basic framework combining breath work and movement along with other foundational principles of Pilates. The spring assistance and/or resistance of the Pilates Reformer helps to lengthen, strengthen, and tone the entire body. These classical exercises and coordinated movements are introduced with modifications and progressions to meet the clients where they are; with a focus on core activation and a total body integration!
This class RFBF (Level 1) is designed with the basic framework in which all proceeding levels should build upon. The challenge lies in applying correct techniques to achieve results & prepares one to advance to the next level. The ultimate goal is to practice "functional movement patterns that translates into everyday life, thus increasing your strength & stability and teaching clients to move with precision, control and at a good pace.
*Suitable for ALL levels. Prior class experience is not required but preferred.
